Welcome to Nassau County Emergency Management
Local Hazard of the Week: Wildfire
New Opportunity!
Nassau now has three WeatherSTEM units collecting real-time weather information!
Click the town names to see current conditions, what happened the last 24 hours, and hour-by-hour forecasts for the next several days at our sites in Callahan, Hilliard, and at the EOC in Yulee. You can also download the WeatherSTEM app on your phone and set customize alerts from those sites for various weather conditions.
Our Preparedness Guide contains information about local hazards, things residents can do to get prepared, a map of evacuation zones, and important phone numbers.
If you have information about recent weather impacts in your area or photos of flooding, hail, spinning tornadic clouds, washed-out roadways or culverts, or uprooted/damaged trees, please use the green button to let us know. You can even send us a photo!

EM uses the weather data you share to verify forecasts from the National Weather Service.
Your report is also sent automatically to City & County Public Works offices so they can take action quickly to ensure public safety.
Nassau's 2025 Community Needs Assessment is now open!
Adults age 18 years and older who live or work in Nassau County are invited to fill out a short (10 minutes) survey on mental health, substance use, and quality of life in the community.
This Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida survey will help improve community services. Demographic information from the survey will be used to identify groups that need specific services, but all responses are completely anonymous.
